Lee Sang-hoon (이상훈)

Lee Sang‑hoon (이상훈) is an acclaimed South Korean director, screenwriter, and author. Best known for Family Secret (due 2025), Pinwheel (2023), and I Will Song (2021). A recipient of the Grand Prize at the 2020 Cultural Content Scenario Competition and Best Director at the 2018 Hallyu Cultural Awards, Lee’s storytelling stands out for its depth, versatility, and emotional resonance.

He brings a unique creative voice across mediums, not only through film but also through his written works, including dating essays (Kiss When Breaking Up 1 & 2), sociocultural reflections (Gaining Seoul Citizenship), and novels (Uncle Bong-gu; Dokdo 1 & 2).
